Knitting 1: The Basics
Learn the basic knitting techniques, casting on, knit & purl stitches, the foundation stitches of Knitting. You will create a swatch to establish your knitting tension and discover related terminology. This class will give you the ability to create scarves, beanies and blankets and basic garments. Students will decide on a project that will be worked on during class.

In this class you will learn the basic crochet stitches: chain, double & treble. You’ll learn the various hook-holding techniques, and related terminology. After The Basics you will be able to create scarves, cushion covers, and blankets to name a few. Students will start a project to be worked on during these classes.

Not sure how to start that pattern, finish off your garment, or knit in the round. Come along and see your knitting guru. She'll answer all your questions and teach you what ever you need to know. Bring your yarn, and patterns along and sit on the knitting couch!
Crochet 2: Granny Squares & One Skein Wonders
This class is aimed at those who have completed Crochet 1, or have an understanding of basic crochet stitches. This class will teach you a variety of ‘granny squares’ that you can piece together to create your masterpiece as well as some small projects created from a skein of yarn.

Sewing 1: The Basics
Learn all the basics skills required to get your machine off and running.
You will be taught various stitches, what a seam allowance is and what's the best needle for the job. By the end of the class you will be sewing up a storm!
Students are required to bring there own sewing machines to classes. Materials list provided on enrolment

This class is suitable for those who have completed Sewing 1: the basics, and who have experience using a rotary cutter.

Quilting 1: The Basics
Learn all the quilting basics from rotary cutting to piecing your work together.
Included in the cost is all the equipment needed to get you going.

This is a class catering for all levels of knitting skill. You will learn to knit socks on either two, four or circular needles.
